The topic this day is in the nature of background material. One of the stops in my almost entirely Catholic eduction was Xavier High School, NY. The Jesuits are well known for their education talent. I want to say that part of the reason I am who I am, is due to the Jesuits. They first taught me the preeminent value of education. Secondly, I learned independence & critical thinking. Now that my faith journey is in "second gear" so to speak, I am also thinking about Ignatian spirituality and the Daily Examen , this is what the Holy Spirit and I discuss each and every day.
